Victoria Falls Safari Lodge

We stayed for 4 nights during Easter and it was beyond expectations. The view from the infinity pool over the gorge is unforgettable. Staff were incredibly warm and helpful, and the game drives into Hwange were perfectly organised. The boma dinner under the stars was a highlight. Will be back.

Came specifically for the Victoria Falls and this lodge was the perfect base. Walking distance to the Falls entry point, excellent buffet breakfasts, and the helicopter flight over the Falls arranged by the concierge was spectacular. Room was spacious and beautifully decorated with local art.

The lodge itself is stunning — the architecture is African luxury at its finest. Food was exceptional, especially the braai nights. Only minor issue was a 45-minute wait for room service one evening, but the staff apologised and made it right. The wildlife on the grounds is unbelievable — elephants walked past our suite window at dawn.

We chose Victoria Falls Safari Lodge for our honeymoon and it was perfect. The suite was immaculate, the sunset cruise on the Zambezi was romantic, and the staff surprised us with a special turndown with rose petals and local chocolates. Zimbabwe tourism is seriously underrated — this lodge showcases the best of it.
